How To Grow 4c Hair To Waist Length Like A Pro

Does all natural hair grow at the same rate?

Sis, listen up!
What’s happening with your hair is not what’s happening with my hair.
The thing is, what I want you to know is that the process to grow long hair can vary for each person and it’s really about increasing the number of right things that you do for your hair and the reducing the number of wrong things that you do for your hair.
In other words, working on improving the good practices of your hair routine can help you grow 4c hair to waist length in no time!

How long does it take to grow 4c hair to waist length?

It depends because hair growth does not occur immediately.

Your hair grows at roughly ½ inch per month which means that the typical head of hair will grow six inches per year.

If you check it out and depending on your personal genetics, your hair may grow more quickly or more slowly.

Now it makes sense why your best friends hair seem to grow faster than yours, right?!

Why has your 4c natural hair seem to have stopped growing?

This question is what I used to ask myself all the time.

What happens is that most people ask about hair growth, but the truth is your hair is always growing(almost) because your hair grows in cycles.

The issue is length retention.

Length retention could be a more important factor for many naturals and it’s often overlooked.

So, how long does it take to grow 4c hair to waist length or longer?

There are many things that can be the factors that determine your hair growth rate.

Factors such as your hair regimen, your growth rate and how well your hair can retain it’s length.

What are the 3 key practices to grow 4c hair to waist length in a nutshell?

  • Low manipulation
  • Regular Moisture
  • Regular Deep conditioning

Most natural that have reached waist length are applying these key prpractices and see great results.

Can I use heat and grow 4c natural hair fast?

One thing with heat is the fact that it can cause your hair to go through a setback if you overuse it.

It doesn’t mean never use heat at all for the entire time you are focusing on getting to waist length but it does mean that if you know your hair does not do well with heat then avoid it.

It’s best to be safe than to cry you some rivers later on, right ? 🙂

Will finger detangling help your 4c hair grow faster?

Honestly between a comb and finger detangling I would pick the second onr.

When you are detangling with your fingers it’s easier to feel the knots and to be more gentle on your hair.

You’re working so hard on growing it and if you don’t have time to detangle then reschedule it for another time.

Will Applying Oils to your scall help you grow 4c hair faster?

One thing with your scalp is that it takes time for the scalps natural oils to make its way from the root of your hair to the ends so you can supply the additional oil your natural hair needs using high-quality organic oils.

When you find out what hair porosity you have it will be easier to pick the right oil for your porosity level.

You need it because it works on nourishing the scalp and strengthening the roots with the help of essential nutrients.

Another oil you can try applying is rosemary oil.

Rosemary oil is often known as a miracle hair growth oil.

There is increasing scientific evidence that rosemary oil can help boost natural hair growth and help you how to grow 4c hair to waist length.

What is the most strategic way to grow 4c hair to waist length in no time?

A great strategy you can use is coming up with a plan on paper or in your head, just make sure you know exactly how you plan to get there.

I know that planning might mean a little math too, so calculate how many inches you grow in a year, and how many inches you will need to get to waist length on your body.
