Moisture in and out!

You do all the right things and yet you feel your hair is dry.. all day long!

This is a sign that you need to work on your moisture game girl!

One I believe that drinking water can drastically help you because first of all dehydration can make you look kind of .. dry.

natural hair water bottle

In so many areas.. do you know your lips can also show that?

Girl, those lip balms can only hide the dehydration.

I encourage you to check this post on how to moisturize your natural hair like a boss and why not get some cute water bottle?

I have thisthis and this in my “hair wants” bucket list 😉

What’s your favorite water bottle? Let me know!

So my suggestion to you is to always have time for your hair.

If you don’t have the time today, just do it another time.

I see my hair regimen always having a better result when I don’t rush through each hair activity.

Why keep those split ends?

I know, you want your natural 4c hair to grow like right now!

I also want that for you my dear 🙂 sure!

But hey those thin ends… um, how do I put this.. needs to go!

For real, you know why?

They are keeping you from achieving that amazing hair goal!

If your hair is not healthy at the ends, guess what?

You will find one of these buddies knocking your hair door:

Splits ends or fairy knots. (by the way this post on how to prevent them will help you)

Not cool at all!

So next time, if you feel your ends kind of rough, lightly trim your hair (don’t get a haircut just trim!).

Use your fingers on your next detangling session!

You’ve wash, conditioned and it’s time for detangling..

What I do is this: I monitor how my natural hair responds when it’s time to detangle.

If you enjoy using combs and things haven’t seemed to work for you lately them I suggest you try using your fingers.

One thing I like with finger detangling is that you can actually feel what’s happening at that spot!

The level of difficulty in detangling can be felt just by using your hands.

But sometimes it’s not enough, let’s face it!

Want a better solution?

Use both techniques: finger and comb detangle combined!

Protect your hair and let it grow!

It’s always good to let your hair be in order to see your 4c hair growth regimen work effectively!

That’s why giving your hair a break with protective styles is a great option that many forget! This post has some pretty cool tips on protective styles.

If you have tried every natural hairstyle on the planet (I’ve likely tried most of them myself ha!) then you know that those styles can become pretty addictive!

What I do is I take a break from getting mini twists done.

I love how it allows me to see my length yet it still protects my hair.

So my answer is taking a break and let it grow!

Lazy for a full wash day? Co-wash!

I get so lazy at washing days… is it only me?

Truth be told they can be time-consuming.

One great trick is to co-wash your hair when you feel your hair needs that wash or if the moisture is all gone from different styles you’ve tried during the week.

When it comes to co-wash this post is super helpful in order to get it right!

Your deep conditioner is your closest buddy!

We all need to deep condition our hair. It gives life back to our lifeless hair and oh it provides nutrients back to the hair shaft!

I Love these amazing deep conditioners under 15$ plus they are super affordable!(wow bellow 15$?? awesome!)

Hey, take it easy with the protein sistah!

Yeah, we’ve talked about deep conditioning and even how to improve your hair moisture but what happens when you’ve done them all?

Your hair still feels limp and lifeless?

Girl, it’s time to do some protein treatment.

Do you know your hair is made of protein? oh yeah!

So next time you feel your hair is not agreeing to your terms try these reviving protein treatments for curly hair and you’ll see a difference!

Where did all that moisture go?

Last but not least I would like to ask you to always seal the moisture in!

After a good deep conditioning treatment of even after applying your hair products like your leave-in conditioner or styling product, your hair needs to keep the moisture.

So invest in some good oils that will help lock in the moisture!

And there you have it!
