How to grow your natural hair 22 savvy ways

  1. Avoid Heat as much as possible

Heat can be a excellent way to manage your natural hair but in the same time, using too much heat can cause more harm than good!

Imagine all the good work you’ve done …all gone due to heat damage! No way!

According to Today website Experts weigh in: Is heat styling really that bad for your hair? So we are advice to protect our hair like protecting our skin!

So tip #1, Avoid heat as much as you can in order to grow your natural hair faster.

  2. Deep Condition once a week for more moisture

Using a deep conditioner on a regular basis can help add “life” to your hair. Deep Conditioners help get your hair moisture back and doing regular deep conditioning can bring your hair back to a good moisture level.

This will eventually help in the growth process because your hair is getting the moisture it needs.

You can also use heat while deep conditioning to get a better result due to the fact that the heat allow the conditioner to penetrate to the hair shaft better.

According to Naturallycurly they also suggest we do not over do it with deep conditioning. Remember, too much of everything is bad!

Another thing you can do is to rince the deep conditioner with cool water that way your hair cuticle will close better.

  3. Eat healthy for healthier hair

Okay, I get it we do not always eat as healthy as we want to! I am guilty of it!

But hold on a minute, base on some research that i made if you eat healthier your body will absorb for healthy vitamins that will benefit your hair.
There are some major factors that influence your hair—genetics, age, hormones, nutrient deficiencies, and more—but what you eat is one of the few things you can do to control your hair’s behavior.

Eatthis.com gives us 30 best and worst foods for our hair and let me tell you my thoughts on it:

Foods like almond butter, tangerines, Amla berries, spinach are not some of my favorite foods but  eating nutrient-rich foods that are scientifically proven to help your hair—and avoiding those that only do harm—you can influence your hair’s thickness, its growth or shedding, how shiny it is, and even its likelihood of greying.

  4. Grow your natural hair with hair vitamins
